Last night I dreamt of spinning. Which is not suprising due to the fact that the pound of superwash merino/nylon roving that I purchased about a year ago has been calling my name lately. Not only that but also in response to the calling, I dyed up a batch a week or so ago and spun it up into a nice two ply worsted weight yarn. After spining it up on my homemade drop spindle, I could hardly weight to spin up some more. This time I tried one of my more popular colorways: Elaine. So far so good. I'll share the pics soon in my Ravelry stash, but here is a pic of the first batch. For all you local knitters out there who have also been bitten by the spinning bug, you can look forward to seeing some hand dyed roving at the 2010 Salt Lake City Art & Craft Market!
